Book Clubs

The Davenport Public Library offers a wide variety of book clubs for adults.  Participation in each book club requires registration since materials are limited.  If you are interested in joining one of our book clubs, please call (563) 326-7832 for more information, or register online by clicking here.

Between the Lines
This book club meets at the Eastern Avenue Library on the second Wednesday of the month at 6:30pm.  This book club reads both fiction and nonfiction.

Books on Tap
Books on Tap will meet at The Phoenix in downtown Davenport, located at 111 W. 2nd Street.  Meetings will be on the first Thursday of the month at 6:30pm.

Brown Bag Book Club
This brand-new book club will meet at the Eastern Avenue Library on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 1:00pm.

DAGOBAH
DAGOBAH is a science fiction and fantasy book club hosted by the Davenport Public Library and coordinated independently.  DAGOBAH has been meeting for 28 years and meets the second Monday of each month at the Main Street Library. 

See YA
See YA is an adult book club that reads all of the great books being published for young adults. Meets at the Eastern Avenue Library on the second Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m.

Short & Sweets
Short & Sweets is a short story "book" club that meets every second Monday of the month at 10:00am at the Fairmount Library. 

West End Book Club
The West End Book Club meets on the third Tuesday of every month at 6:30pm at the Fairmount Library.  This book club reads both fiction and nonfiction.
